Mr. Bean Nails!
I’m sure everyone of you at some point has seen a Mr. Bean episode. The live action series starring Rowan Atkinson started in 1990. The series is now legendary and famous worldwide, despite having only shot 14 episodes.
The series has also spawned an animated version, which my daughter loves so much. I love Mr. Bean too, I grew up watching episodes of the live action series.
A bit of trivia about Mr. Bean/Rowan Atkinson
1. He drives race cars in real life, that’s why he is so good at driving that green leyland mini.
2. He is one of the richest men in UK. Worth millions!
3. He’s worked with Hugh Laurie (Dr. House) in comedy sketches and I believe they’re friends
4. He has a hot daughter
Ok, on with the manicure. I used a total of 9 polishes for this. I used OPI Your Royal Shyness for Mr. Bean’s skin. I used Sally Hansen HARD as NAILS Xtreme Wear in Sweet for Teddy and Mr. Bean’s suit. The rest of the polishes were local brands, such as Caronia (Black and Purple), B2K (Green and White), and Sassy (Nail art pens in silver, red, white and black). My top coat of course, was my favorite top coat from The Face Shop.
I did a tutorial - EASY CARTOON EYES using dotting tools. Just don’t breathe when you’re dotting for precision purposes :-P

My station.
It’s 10pm. I thought I’d do this for my daughter while she’s asleep in our room with Daddy . She wanted me to do a Mr. Bean design. Will show her (and you!) when she wakes up.
Finally got to use my OPI and Sally Hansen polishes.
Just simple blue nails, from last month.
DAY 29: INSPIRED BY THE SUPERNATURAL
At first, I thought about doing an anime version of Sadako (Samara) from The Ring. I have already done a mock up on paper, using my nail art pen, but then my daughter gave me an idea. She said I should do the alien from Toy Story, which I did.
This is also to make up for my “INSPIRED BY A MOVIE” nails. At least with this, I did both inspired by the Supernatural (aliens!) and inspired by a movie (Toy Story).
I also attached a photo of the nail polish that I used. All of them are local brands, save for my top coat which is from The Face Shop.
CHERRY BLOSSOMS by Tinxiedoodles
This is my right hand. I was so ashamed with how the starry nails turned out that I wanted to redeem myself. These are cherry blossoms inspired by, well, all the cherry blossom nails I have seen on the internet. There are literally hundreds out there. The branches were made freehand, but the flowers were made by my dotting tool. I wanted to do them freehand, but I’m right handed.
I used the nail polish I just got from THE FACE SHOP (the one in the previous post, but with repairs), and I topped it with my new favorite “winter sky” nail polish from 24k.
How funny, my left hand is full of minions, and my right hand, flowers. LOL.
Latest find, from The Face Shop. I lovvveee this color.
DAY 23: INSPIRED BY A MOVIE
I told you I was gonna reblog… Sorry I know I posted these already but I still don’t want to take off my candy sprinkles nails! I haven’t gone to work yet because I’m sick and all, and I want to show em off first, before taking them off. LOL.
Goodie from my hubby. It’s a silver-gray color. Can’t wait to try it on!
