I'm Tinxiedoodles (Kristine), 30. A mom, a wife, an office drone,and a musician. I do a lot of artsy stuff, like photography, drawing, songwriting, singing, and I also love to do freehand nail art in my free time.

Most of the time, this tumblr will be about my nailart, but I will post some of my other pursuits from time to time, as well as nail art from artists that I admire a lot.

DAY 26 - INSPIRED BY A PATTERN

Particularly, animal patterns. Like I said, I’ve always wanted to do animal prints on my own fingernails and I’m feeling quite lazy and tired today as I’ve been sick for the past week. Sorry for the mess.

Also coz I’m 30 and older gals enjoy animal prints. I just hope to God you like them. I don’t want to disappoint.

Here’s how I did my Winnie the Pooh nail!

1. Apply Top Coat

2. Apply your base color. Mine was a mint-green polish from The Face Shop, but you can use whatever you want.

3. Using your Yellowish/Tan polish, make a shape similar to Pooh’s head.

4. Using a black nail art pen, make an outline, and draw Pooh’s facial features and you’re done!

WINNIE THE POOH NAILS

Yesterday, my daughter asked me if I could do Winnie the Pooh and gang on my nails. This is the most complicated and time consuming nail art design I’ve done so far.

Total Polishes used: 13 - Bobbie, The Face Shop, Caronia, Sassy and 24K

DAY 29: INSPIRED BY THE SUPERNATURAL

At first, I thought about doing an anime version of Sadako (Samara) from The Ring. I have already done a mock up on paper, using my nail art pen, but then my daughter gave me an idea. She said I should do the alien from Toy Story, which I did.

This is also to make up for my “INSPIRED BY A MOVIE” nails. At least with this, I did both inspired by the Supernatural (aliens!) and inspired by a movie (Toy Story).

I also attached a photo of the nail polish that I used. All of them are local brands, save for my top coat which is from The Face Shop.

CHERRY BLOSSOMS by Tinxiedoodles

This is my right hand. I was so ashamed with how the starry nails turned out that I wanted to redeem myself. These are cherry blossoms inspired by, well, all the cherry blossom nails I have seen on the internet. There are literally hundreds out there. The branches were made freehand, but the flowers were made by my dotting tool. I wanted to do them freehand, but I’m right handed.

I used the nail polish I just got from THE FACE SHOP (the one in the previous post, but with repairs), and I topped it with my new favorite “winter sky” nail polish from 24k.

How funny, my left hand is full of minions, and my right hand, flowers. LOL.

DAY 27: INSPIRED BY ARTWORK

These are my art deco nails. Tape was used. I do hope you like them, even if they’re an old mani. I’m not quite sure if I have posted a photo of these nails before.
