DAY 25 - INSPIRED BY FASHION
That’s Dara of 2NE1. I saw a movie starring Dara a couple of weeks ago and I thought I should do something inspired by an outfit she wore.
Yes, Dara was a TV and movie star in the Philippines before she went back to Korea.

Inspired by a perfume is not in the challenge, but Pink and Gold is the cutest color combo ever!
I obviously made a mistake when I added an outline to the bows, but I think adding the gems improved them a bit. What do you think?

DAY 3 - YELLOW NAILS
The 31-day nail art challenge is…well… challenging. In order to catch up I do a different mani for each hand.
Sorry if my mani for “yellow nails” is quite simplistic. I did this on my right hand, and as you know, I’m not ambidextrous, and yellow is not my favorite color. For reasons that are both artistically and politically motivated (for my Filipino followers, sorry, but I’m not into President Noynoy, we could have done better).
For Day 3 of the 31-day Nail Art Challenge, I tried to channel Beyonce. I thought of people, besides our country’s president, who wears a lot of yellow and I don’t think anybody wears as much gold and yellow as Beyonce does, so I looked into her past outfits for inspiration and this Emilio Pucci dress caught my eye.
I woke up in the middle of the night thinking about how to execute this. I thought about making peek-a-boo holes, but, as I said, I’m not ambidextrous, so I just settled on trying to imitate the dress’ embroidery.
Broke my own protocol of trying out ideas on fake nails first before doing something drastic and this is what I get :-( My hubby commenting on how much better the disco nails were made me feel worse :-( waaaah. I feel like an idiot. Oh well. I wanted to put them back on again but I ran out of time. This is what I get for having too much free time on my hands :-( I feel so bad :-( If only I could type-cry. It was my first time trying nail transfers so I got too excited and I permanently deleted my disco nails. I feel like a loser. I need to cry.
oh well at least there goes day 25 - inspired by fashionMy feet look so much better though, I did a vintage floral pedicure. Will post a photo after clean up.
