I'm Tinxiedoodles (Kristine), 30. A mom, a wife, an office drone, and a musician. I do a lot of artsy stuff, like photography, drawing, songwriting, singing, and I also love to do freehand nail art in my free time.

Most of the time, this tumblr will be about my nailart, but I will post some of my other pursuits from time to time, as well as nail art from artists that I admire a lot.

All designs posted by me are my own unless stated otherwise. Removing or editing the watermark on my photos is not allowed. Thanks for visiting my blog!

New ten-minute mani that I did last night… The ring finger got smudged… Sorry. Was too excited to put the top coat on. This is so easy to do. There is no need for special brushes.
HOW I DID THIS:
1. Choose 3 or 4 colors that you want to use. I chose summer colors coz it’s summer here, we went swimming yesterday and my daughter and I both got tanned. LOL
2. Put your base coat on. For me it was a light green/cyan color.
3. Using the regular brush that comes with your bottle of polish, paint on a wavy line with the second color you want to use. Mine was yellow.
4. Do the same thing for your third (dark salmon pink) and fourth color (pink).
5. Let it dry for a bit before painting on your top coat to avoid smudging… (Look at what happened to my ring finger :-(   )
And you’re done!

Here’s the tutorial on how to paint roses on your nails, the easy way.
NOTE: These are done on the assumption that you have already painted on a base color, and they look better on nails, promise.
