I'm Tinxiedoodles (Kristine), 30. A mom, a wife, an office drone,and a musician. I do a lot of artsy stuff, like photography, drawing, songwriting, singing, and I also love to do freehand nail art in my free time.

Now this is a classic leopard mani. I was really in love with what Sarah’s (Chalkboard Nails) color combination, so I had to try it and this one, I loved!

My toenails. Tie Dye… Very summer. Pardon the base coat. It was a super fuschia pink. I was going to do a pink themed tie dye design, but space ran out.
This was pretty easy to do. Next week I’m gonna do this to my fingernails. ♥ I love this coz it’s a great alternative to water marbling and I really really really really HATE WATER MARBLING. I can’t tell you how much I hate doing it. I have never been successful at it.
1. Choose your colors. The brighter, the better. Also prepare a pin or a needle.
2. Apply your base coat and let it dry.
3. Open all nail polish bottles, coz you need to be fast, really, really fast.
4. Apply all your colors in whichever way you want and do it FAST. Mine was applied vertically.
5. Get your needle and start dragging in a starburst pattern. Do it really quick or your nail polish will dry and your design will suck…
There ya go. Tie dye nails.
Tinkerbell nails!
These were kind of difficult to paint, as human-like faces usually are. I used the tiniest needle I could find to paint her nose and eyebrows.
I also read that mint is in this spring, so I chose a more minty green for the other nails.

PUCCA NAILS
Another request from my dearest little girl ♥ Since it’s spring overseas (but summer here), I’ve added some flowers to the mani. It was rushed, as I did it at work. I had to finish everything within my lunch break hour. Not my best, but they’re fun, and we’re going swimming tomorrow so they’ll probably get ruined really quickly so I didn’t really put that much effort into them.
Next week I’ll be back with a new set of cartoon-themed nails. ♥
Thomas the Tank Engine Nails!
Finally gave in to my daughter’s request and did Thomas nails which were based from her favorite book, Thomas and the School Trip.
Lalaloopsy Mini doll house inspired mani —- pink polka dots, orange tips… My right hand is so boring compared to my left hand. I really have to learn to be ambidextrous
![Here they are. Finally done with the Dragon Ball Z nails after 24 hours of planning and execution. I hope you can tell that those are Goku and Gohan… Although I admit, it is kind of hard to tell that it is them without their crazy hair. That’s why I painted a dragon ball, Gohan’s dragon ball on my thumb. I was trying to do a gradient to mimic the shininess of a dragon ball, and I did the gradient without a sponge. I just layered a sheer yellow polish over my nail that was painted orange diagonally at the tip and did the same with some sheer white polish at the top part. I also used a gold glitter polish as topcoat for this particular nail to give it a more dragon ball type look.
For my pinkie and index finger, I copied their uniform. I drew black lines over the blue tips to make them look like [fabric] their uniforms.
