Tinxiedoodles' Nail Art

I'm Tinxiedoodles (Kristine), 30. A mom, a wife, an office drone,and a musician. I do a lot of artsy stuff, like photography, drawing, songwriting, singing, and I also love to do freehand nail art in my free time.

Most of the time, this tumblr will be about my nailart, but I will post some of my other pursuits from time to time, as well as nail art from artists that I admire a lot.

Thanks for all the Likes and ReBlogs!

I’m just so happy that so many people have liked and reblogged my nails ♥ My nail art gives me a sense of accomplishment, so much more than my work does, to be honest. Thank you so much ♥ I promise to do more designs, especially now that my daughter is feeling better.

Stuff on my nail art bucketlist are as follows:

  1. Simple gray-glitter nails a-la THE NAILASAURUS (because I love it so much)
  2. Neat striped mani (because I haven’t been able to do that. Any tips for a neat masking tape striped mani?)
  3. Anime nails (maybe Astroboy? Dragon Ball?)
  4. Thomas the Train nails (as requested by my daughter)
  5. Experimental Stamping (hehehe!)
  6. Treasure Map or just plain map-themed nails
  7. Philippine Flag-inspired nails.
  8. Spring-Themed nails… although I will probably not be able to join PrettyNailSwag’s contest due to time constraint.

I hope I will be able to do all these in the days to come. Finally was able to do a Rainbow Leopard mani after 2 months of itching to do so, so that’s a good sign. LOL.

  1. polishisagirlsbestfriend said: Stripe mani, make sure your base color is COMPLETELY dry. Use matte finish tape (I’ve found the ‘satin finish’ always peels off the base color). Make sure to take the tape off before the color you painted over it dries. Hope that helps! :)
